Mother Nature Washes Out Two In a Row

Winchester, NH: The Northeast experienced a very dismal weekend forcing many tracks to cancel their race program including Monadnock Speedway. The track was to hold their first inaugural race for the ACT Type late Models along with the Sign Works Oval Track Series that featured the Granite State Legends and Bandoleros. On Sunday, May 14th the first Mudbog Mudslinger event of the season was also washed out.

The speedway management work diligently last week to have a back up plan in case the weather was not going to take a break from the heavy rains. Through a polled response, the track has rescheduled the ACT Type Late Model event for Saturday, May 27th and due to the number of divisions start time for qualifying heats will be at 5pm. The Sign Works Oval Track Series that featured the Granite State Legends and Bandoleros will be scheduled at a later date determined by their series director. The Mudbog Mudslinger Series has been rescheduled to this Sunday, May 21st at Noon.

The next race event slated for the 1/4 high banked track will be this Saturday, May 20th and will feature Twin 25s for the Sportsman Modified Division. The event will also include Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Lightning Stocks, Thunder Stocks and Young Guns. Race time will be at 6pm.
