BRADFORD, VT –With the snow is FINALLY melting, we are prepping the track, and beginning to spruce up the facility for the competitors and fans who are getting revved up to see the first green of the 2014 season on Saturday, May 3rd after the annual Bear Ridge Car show at the Bradford Jiffy Mart in Bradford VT. Before we swing open the gates be sure to check out the cars and stars at the 13th annual Upper Valley Car show this year being held at the JC Penney Plaza in front of the old Shaws in West Lebanon, NH. With drivers itching to hit the dirt this show is sure to pack a punch for the fans as those competitors participating in the show will be able to enjoy an exclusive practice.

Opening night for the 99Rock Weekly Racing Series could set the tone for the season for a few lucky competitors as double points will be on the line for all five divisions, making the action doubly exciting.

Will Chris Donnelly come out of the box strong looking for his 2nd consecutive Championship in the Bond Auto DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds? Who is preparing to take charge of the thrown of the Wells River Sportsman Coupes Championship, with the retirement of Terry Williams from the division this year? The Laquerre’s Sports Limited Late Model title is poised to be the fasting growing in 2014 which means more competition for Jason Giguere, last year’s champ. Will his luck continue into 2014 or will Brandon Gray, or new comers Robbie Williams and Ryan Christian take the crown away. This division is surely set to be the one to watch in 2014. Scott Holcomb looks to reclaim his USAC Dirt Midget title from Joe Krawiec last years champion, but for they are sure to have some stiff completion with many new names entered in this class and hot shoe Adam Pierson driving the full season for the Manafort stable.

Find out the answers to these questions and more as the 2014 season officially starts with the annual Bear Ridge Speedway Car Show at the Bradford Jiffy Mart in downtown Bradford, VT on Saturday, May 3rd, beginning at 10:00am. Practice will begin at the speedway at 2:00pm, and the season’s first green flag will wave at “6:00-ish” on Saturday night. General admission is $10 for adults (age 18-61), $8 for teens (12-17) and seniors (62+), and $2 for children. Season passes are also available; Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
