Mother Nature Wins Out Again at Monadnock Speedway

Winchester, NH: This past Saturday, Mother Nature decided the fate of the race venue scheduled and the final 2014 NASCAR point show event at the high banked 1/4 mile of Monadnock Speedway. The speedway has dealt with this before as a few years ago rain washed out the final two point races deciding the final point standings.

Monadnock Speedway has unofficially announced the 2014 NASCAR Whelen All American Racing Series Champions; Todd Patnode (Sportsman Modifieds), Tom Carey III (Super Stocks), Mike Stebbins (Mini Stocks), Marshall Usher (Thunder Stocks) and Kyle Boniface (Lightning Stocks). The championship will be made official on the Super Saturday Season Finale Event.

The track will take a break from racing action this Saturday, September 20th however staff will be busy preparing for the very popular Super Saturday Season Finale Challenge being held on Saturday, September 27th. The event will be filled with racing action from all the speedway’s regular weekly divisions plus Pro 4 Modifieds, Vintage Outlaws, NE Classic Lites, Powder Puffs, Spectator Races, Big Wheels Races and the Great School Bus Race of Champions.

The season finale will have an earlier start time with heats starting at 2pm. There will be school bus rides for the kids at 1:30pm. For more information, log onto the speedway’s website at www.monadnockspeedway.com
