fasfasf(Stafford Springs, CT)—The 2015 rules for the Late Model and Limited Late Model divisions have been released.

Changes for the Late Model division consist of a new gear rule and a change to the left side weight percentage. Also, the Late Models will race on the Hoosier 27.0 x 8.0 – 2040 compound tire in 2015 and the minimum tire pressures for inspection purposes has been changed to fifteen (15) psi for both left side tires and twenty five (25) psi for both right side tires.

The new gear rule states that Late Model with a Ford rear end must use either a 4.86 or 5.00 final drive ratio, while cars with a GM rear must use a 4.88 final drive ratio.
The left side weight rule for the Late Models has increased to 56%.
There were also minor changes and clarifications made in the Late Model division for the Battery, Engine Exhaust System, Rear Axle, Springs, Sway Bars, Shock Absorbers, Spindles and Hubs, and Steering Components.

Stafford’s Limited Late Model division also has several changes from the 2014 rules dealing with the left side weight percentage, a required intake manifold, and the same tire compound change as the Late Model division.

The Limited Late Models will race on Hoosier 27.0 x 8.0 – 2040 compound tire in 2015 and the minimum tire pressures for inspection purposes has been changed to fifteen (15) psi for both left side tires and twenty five (25) psi for both right side tires.
The required intake manifold for the Limited Late Model will be the GM P/N 12366573.
The left side weight rule for Limited Late Model has increased to 55%.
The Limited Late Models also have minor rule changes and clarifications dealing with the Battery, Engine Exhaust System, Rear Axle, OEM Frames, Sway Bar, Coil Springs, and Spindles and Hubs.
