Dirt Midget Association Pierson Receives Championship Award at USAC Banquet in Indy

Ellington, CT: Dirt Midget Association driver Adam Pierson received his national championship award during the USAC Banquet held Friday night December 12th at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis, IN.

The evening kicked off with a red carpet introduction of all 2014 Champions of which Pierson was one of those who walked into the USAC history books during this special event.

USAC President Kevin Miller welcomed all of the Champions and invited guest and provide a recap of the 2014 season with a great outlook towards 2015. The evening was also highlighted with video clips of the seasons past races that showed the excitement of the Champions driving hard and winning races.

Pierson, who races in the USAC Dirt Midget Association Series at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vermont in the Frank Manafort owned FMR dirt midget, was the dominant force at the track during the 2014 race season and had a commanding points lead by the last race.

During his awards acceptance speech, Pierson gave a heartfelt thank you to his car owner Frank Manafort, his family along with thanking his mentor Brad Noffsinger who has been coaching Pierson on driving techniques.

Next on Pierson’s race schedule is the upcoming Chili Bowl in January 2015 which he will once again be driving for his Frank Manafort owned FMR team.
