Concord, NC (Feb. 23, 2015) – On April 13, Petty Holdings, LLC – the worldwide leader in drive and ride entertainment and owner/operator of Richard Petty Driving Experience (RPDE) – will announce 10 lucky participants who will be named to the inaugural class of the Richard Petty Driving Experience Hall of Fame.
To be considered, Richard Petty Driving Experience is asking fans to submit a video of less than two-minutes explaining why they should be named to the RPDE Hall of Fame. From February 23 through March 16, fans can submit their videos via Richard Petty Driving Experience social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, tagging @DrivePetty and using the hashtag #RPDEHOF. The RPDE team will narrow submissions to a group of finalists; five of the inductees will be determined by fan voting to take place on social media March 16 through April 8, and five by the RPDE team.
Ten Hall-of-Famers will receive a RPDE gift card in the amount of $500 for a driving experience at the track of their choosing and a commemorative brick placed at the official NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Richard Petty Driving Experience offers real life NASCAR racing thrills, putting drivers as close to being in the race as they could ever get. Programs include eight- to 30-lap driving experiences, where participants have the opportunity to climb behind the wheel, put their foot on the gas and experience the power of 600 horses on some of the sport’s most legendary tracks.
