dasrfsdfsdKANNAPOLIS, N.C. (July 14, 2015) – As Danica Patrick and the No. 10 GoDaddy Chevrolet SS team for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) look to get their season back on solid footing, there’s no better place to make that happen than this weekend’s New Hampshire 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race in the “Granite State” at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Patrick’s 2015 season got off to a solid start with two top-10s and five top-20 finishes in the first eight races of the season, but in recent weeks sub-par finishes have been out of her control. And after three-straight weeks where accidents have knocked her out of contention for a solid finish, Patrick has dropped to 22nd in the Sprint Cup driver point standings.

At Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway, Patrick ran well inside the top-20 for much of the race, but contact from another car with less than 10 laps to go sent Patrick’s No. 10 Chevrolet spinning off course. She was able to regain three positions in the closing laps, but was relegated to a 24th-place finish.

The following weekend at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, Patrick managed to survive two multi-car accidents, but her night was cut short after a cutting down a right-front tire sent her into the wall in turn two less than 40 laps from the finish and left her with a 35th-place result.

Last weekend at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Patrick finished 34th after late-race contact sent the No. 10 GoDaddy Chevrolet into the outside wall and then spinning into the grass off of turn four.

With several weeks rough weekends in the rearview mirror, Patrick and her No. 10 GoDaddy Chevrolet team are looking to turn things around and this weekend could provide a great opportunity. Nicknamed the “Granite State” due to its extensive rock formations and quarries in the state, New Hampshire could provide Patrick and her team with the proper footing to get their season back on track.
