dfsdvsAfter stopping Sam Betts’ 3 race win streak last week, Jason Trundy of Winterport has started a streak of his own as he made it two in a row in the Wednesday night RoadRunners at Speedway 95. Trundy started 26th in the 43 car starting field for the 20 lap feature and steadily worked his way through the pack. With the help of three red flags stopping the action, Trundy took the lead on lap 15, and held it through two more red flags in the final five laps, winning two drag race restarts with Sam Betts of Bradley. Betts finished in second, with Andrew Cossette of Eddington finishing in third. Fourth went to Rick Gomm of Dixmont with Trey Brown of Winterport finishing fifth.

Scott Hunt of Glenburn won his first feature of the season in the Stars of Tomorrow, leading all 20 laps of the feature and holding off three time winner Marcus Dunn of Newburgh for the win. Hunt started on the pole and built up a five car lead that diminished to less than a car length at the end as Dunn made a hard run from third to challenge Hunt for the lead, but came up short as the checkered flag fell. Dunn finished second with Nicholas Cota of Carmel finishing third. Fourth went to Jordan Kimball of Holden with Brady Campbell of Stetson coming in fifth.

Andrew Crosby of Hermon returned to victory lane in the Modified Enduro division after taking an early lead and outrunning the rest of the field to the checkers. Dustin Lancaster of Milo got by Hampden’s Danielle Beale with two laps to go to finish second on the track, but lost the position in post-race inspection due to an infraction of the tire rule. Danielle Beale became the second place finisher, with Scott Bonney of Levant finishing third, Fourth went to Rhonda Crain of Hermon, with pole-sitter Alex Runci of Frankfort finishing fifth.

In the stunt race, a 10 lap tag team affair, the team of Kyle Gallant of Glenburn and Anthony Miles of Winterport were first to complete the 5 tags and 10 laps of the race.
