FAIRLEE, VT – Bear Ridge Speedway is set to honor the achievements of its competitors of the 2015 racing season this coming Saturday night at the Lake Morey Inn. A packed house is once again expected with more than $20,000 in prizes and point fund purses to be awarded.

The top ten in the Bond Auto Parts DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds will be recognized, along with nine drivers from the top ten in the DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes and ten drivers from the .

USAC Dirt Midgets. In addition the top four eligible to be recognized in the Crazy Ed’s Limited Late Models and seven of the eight eligible in the Weglarz Property Service will be on hand. There will also be several drivers not in the top ten on hand to share in the celebrations of all the drivers.

In addition to the top points qualifiers special awards will be given in several categories, headlined by the prestigious John Poor Memorial Award, given annually to one driver from each of the Modified and Coupe divisions. John Poor was an important official at Bear Ridge Speedway for many years and the award bearing his name is given to drivers who elevate the sport of stock car racing through exceptional conduct on and off the track. The Raymond /Cliff Bullis Memorial Award for performance on the track and conduct in the pit area will be awarded to five deserving drivers by their dear friend John Sleeper. The Bob Shepard “Drive, Desire, Determination and Dedication” award, given by an anonymous fan sponsor. In addition to the these awards there will be the Sportsman Award, Rookie of the Year, Most Popular Driver, and the Big Al’s Photos “What A Picture” Hard Luck Awards and the Lap Leader Award.

More than 50 prizes will be given to racers by random draw and the night will be topped with the deal or no deal for five lucky drivers, and the top award a thousand dollar gift certificate to the Ridge.
