NASCAR STAR KYLE BUSCH ANNOUNCES RETURN TO TD BANK 250 ON JULY 24

OXFORD, Maine (April 20, 2011) – Kyle Busch made quite an impression in his first two TD Bank 250 attempts.

In 2005, he led the race twice for a total of 61 laps. In 2006, Busch looked poised to win the event when his motor expired while leading the event.

Kyle is coming back and will be looking for a victory in 2011.

Dupree going for 3rd Airborne title

South Plattsburgh, NY – Until proven otherwise, defending Ernie’s Discount Tools DIRTcar Modified champion Patrick Dupree of Saranac Lake is the man to beat at Airborne Speedway. Airborne begins its 58th stock car racing season with the Della Auto Group Fast 50 Saturday, May 7.

Dupree won the 2010 season opener and was the point leader the rest of the way, winning five more races to claim his second Airborne track championship. His car of choice was the older of two machines prepared by his stepfather and car owner Wes Moody.

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (April 19, 2011) – After last week’s improbable victory in the Aaron’s 312 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway, Kyle Busch finds himself just two Nationwide wins away from tying the legendary Mark Martin for the lead in career wins in NASCAR’s second-highest division as the series heads to Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway for Saturday’s Nashville 300.

Martin has 49 Nationwide Series victories in his illustrious career, but Busch, driver of the No. 18 Z-Line Designs Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR), inched closer last week with a wild win that put his total at 47 trips to victory lane.

Speedway 95 get drivers and fans ready for opening day

With just 3 weeks to go before opening day for the 2011 racing season, Speedway 95 officials have filled the week-ends with activities to get drivers and fans ready for opening day. On Saturday, April 23, the pit area will open at 10:00 a.m. for the annual Car Show and Flea Market. Running until 5:00 p.m. that day, the event will have cars ready for the season on display as well as vendors selling racing parts and products. On Saturday, April 30, the track will open at 10:00 a.m. for practice in all divisions. Practice times will run by divisions throughout the day, and will end promptly at 5:00 p.m.
