EPPING, NH – D.J. Shaw of Conway, NH invaded the Granite State regulars and took the win in the 100 lap contest from Star Speedway. Shaw started mid-field aboard his Precision JLM Chevrolet and was able to work his way to the top spot at lap 48. It wasn’t without a challenge, as fellow Dale Shaw Racecar driver David Oliver gave Shaw a strong challenge aboard his Hood Heluva Good #21me. This marks the first win for Shaw on the Granite State Pro Stock Series Tour.
“This is big for me here. I don’t have much confidence in myself as a driver at this racetrack, so this is huge,” said a relieved Shaw in Victory Lane. “I had a good enough car to where I could hold off some challenges late. It’s great to have two Dale Shaw Racecars up front like this.”

Dale Shaw, Joe Pastore top Mod, Sportsman fields
NORTH WOODSTOCK NH (8/12) Center Conway New Hampshire’s DJ Shaw charged from deep in the field to take the lead on lap 53 of Sunday afternoon’s Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North super late model feature, earning his second win of 2012 at North Woodstock New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park. Shaw kept Lonnie Sommerville and Cassius Clark in his mirrors for the final seventy laps in a rain shortened 123 lap feature.
Kyle DeSouza and Lonnie Sommerville led the field to the green and Sommerville quickly dispatched with DeSouza for the early lead. Sommerville’s team mate and car owner Scott Mulkern raced past DeSouza on a lap 27 restart and took the lead from Sommerville when the pair restarted after a lap 34 yellow. 15 laps later Sommerville reclaimed the lead but Shaw was ready to take up the challenge, moving up to second on lap 49. Shaw, who has a White Mountain late model track title to his credit, drove by Sommerville on lap 53 and opened up a commanding lead despite two more restart challenges from Sommerville. Mulkern’s good day came to an end after a dust up with John Donahue sent him into the turn one wall, just as mother nature let loose with showers that ended the race.

Gerry D wins LM main. Barry Shaw Jr claims first Sport Truck win, Lineham again in the Sam’s Club Streets
Center Conway NH’s D.J. Shaw admitted in Victory Lane that he wasn’t looking forward to the Pro All Stars Series returning to The Action Track of the East. “I didn’t like the track, we just never seem to run well here.” is what the winning driver had to say. But that perception has all changed now, as the post-race victory photos were taken.
Three time Seekonk winner Ryan Vanasse and former PASS Champion Ben Rowe brought the 27 car field down with Vanasse setting the pace for the first several laps before six time Seekonk Champion Fred Astle took over after a lap 11 restart. Astle led for several laps before Derek Ramstrom took over the lead. As the race reached the mid-point, it was apparent that there would not be a Seekonk Pro Stock regular carrying the checkers, as the only regular remaining in the top five was pole sitter Ryan Vanasse, who was sitting in the fifth position.
