Truex Jr. Overcomes Bad Break With Gritty Performance in New Hampshire

dfgdfgdfLOUDON, N.H. (July 19, 2015) — Martin Truex Jr.’s 12th-place finish could be summarized as either disappointing or impressive, it’s just a matter of which way one would assess the final result in Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

While comfortably running in sixth place and turning lap times quicker than some of the cars in front of him, Truex came down pit road under green for his final stop with 55 laps remaining. But the early timing of the green-flag pit stop for tires and fuel turned out to be an unlucky break for Truex.

Truex Jr. Seeking Another Highlight in Granite State

dasrfsdfsdDENVER, Colo. (July 14, 2015) – The highlight that probably stands out most for Martin Truex Jr. at New Hampshire Motor Speedway took place when he was more than 350 miles from the New England facility.

It was back in 1994 at his home in Mayetta, N.J. when the 15-year-old Truex watched his father – Martin Truex Sr. – win the Busch North Series race at New Hampshire on The Nashville Network.

Getting Back on Track in the ‘Granite State’

(July 14, 2015) – As Danica Patrick and the No. 10 GoDaddy Chevrolet SS team for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) look to get their season back on solid footing, there’s no better place to make that happen than this weekend’s New Hampshire 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race in the “Granite State” at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Patrick’s 2015 season got off to a solid start with two top-10s and five top-20 finishes in the first eight races of the season, but in recent weeks sub-par finishes have been out of her control. And after three-straight weeks where accidents have knocked her out of contention for a solid finish, Patrick has dropped to 22nd in the Sprint Cup driver point standings.
