fstdydfHarrington’s Andrew McLaughlin won the hotly contested 50 lap Hopkins Landscaping Series feature for the Dysart’s Late Models at Speedway 95 Saturday night after fighting a race long battle with Ryan Deane of Winterport for the win. Alexander of Glenburn. On the restart, Deane raced with McLaughlin for the lead, with the two racing side by side and swapping the lead back and forth until McLaughlin took it back on lap 23. Deane didn’t give up on the inside groove, and worked his way past McLaughlin, taking the lead on the 33rd lap. Deane led until lap 44, when McLaughlin passed Deane on the outside to take the lead back again, this time for good. Deane finished in second, with Milo’s Nick Jenkins finishing third, right behind the front two at the finish. DANIELLE BEALE WINS MODIFIED ENDURO FEATURE AT 95

Speedway95Danielle Beal of Hampden brought the 3 race win streak of Milo’s Dustin Lancaster to an end Wednesday night at Speedway 95 as she led the 20 lap Modified Enduro feature from start to finish. While Beale led the first 9 laps, Lancaster, Andrew Crosby of Hermon, Scott Bonney of Stetson and Rhonda Crain of Hermon sat three car lengths back in a pack battling for second through fifth positions. On lap 9, Bonney and Crosby both shot off the track in turn 4, ending up against the tire wall, bringing out the race’s only caution period. Both were able to continue on the restart, but from the back of the field. On the restart, Beale reassumed the lead with Lancaster in second and Crosby soon in third. As Lancaster and Crosby fought for second, Beale continued to lead by about 2 car lengths, which was her margin of victory over Lancaster, who finished second with Crosby finishing third.
