O’Connell Handles Hudson High Banks For First Pro Stock Victory
GRANITE STATE PRO STOCK SERIES PRESENTED BY SPRINGFIELD BUICK GMC
WALPOLE, NH.

quick shower may have slowed the evenings schedule before heats began but, the energy at Hudson Speedway was overwhelmingly positive. New ownership from Ben Bosowski and his team have re-ignited the spark of short track racing in Hudson, NH.

In dominating fashion Devin O’Connell of Madison, CT drove the #43 into victory lane for the first time at Hudson Speedway in Hudson, NH Sunday night. The Gate City 100 was not only his first victory in a pro stock, but also his first trip around the high banks of Hudson. “It’s been a crazy ride you know, working on me, and all these guys working on the car making it better and better.” O’Connell said. Consistency is the top priority for O’Connell as the series has yet to hit the half way point. “The number one goal is to keep it in one piece and continue to finish in the top 5.”

Following O’Connell Nick Lascuola of Abington, MA also had a career best finish of second. “It helped me out starting up front by staying out of the carnage, we fell in line and paced ourselves early on because of that.” Lascuola said. Hudson Speedway claimed a few victims Sunday night as Bobby Cabral failed to make the feature, Barry Gray and Luke Hinkley also retired with significant damage.

Looking for his first victory in a pro stock, Lascuola believes he’s “Right there.” He’ll have a chance to do so Saturday, July 28th at White Mountain Motorsports Park.

Once again another young driver with his best career pro stock finish Ray Christian III of Groton, CT lands the #93ct on the third step of the podium. Early on, Christian got collected on a restart, went airborne riding upon the left side of the #00 Jimmy Renfrew Jr and went “Into John Deere country” Christian said. “We knew there were going to be some cautions so we bid our time as the race progressed, I couldn’t have done it without Crazy Horse Racing and my entire team.”

Our next event is on Saturday, July 28th at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, NH.
