Jeff Robbins gets his first win in the Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes

Feature winners for Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank night at the Ridge: James Fadden in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Jeff Robbins in the DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, Robbie Willams in the C.A. Miller Limited Late Models, Chris Murray in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stockers, Kevin LaForest wins feature one and Zach Audet wins feature two in the Peanuts Auto Four Cylinders, and Floyd Billington in the WYKR Sprint Cars of New England.
Double points had everyone pretty much tending to their knitting, which proved for some great racing as everyone strove to get their way to the front. Jerremy Huntoon got the lead on the start but as the race progressed found himself falling back due to mechanical problems, watching yet another opportunity pass him by for a victory lane finish. James Fadden no stranger to the struggles of making it to victory lane, found the stars aligned for him as he came from the fourth row under green flag racing to the front. He would score his first win in the five years he has been racing in the DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds. Jordan Fornwalt and Jason Gray joined him in victor lane with Matt Lashua and Richie Simmons completing the top five.
Another new winner in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes is entered in the record books as Jeff Robbins claims the checkers over Brian Chaffee after a long hard-fought battle. Tad Kingsbury grabs the final victory lane spot with Tyler Stygles coming home in fourth and Tomas Placey fifth.
The USAC DMA Midgets had their final event of the season with a three segment race set up from time trials. Seth Carlson set fast time at 14.571 seconds the top 8 were inverted for the start of the first segment, and when the checkers waved on the ten lap event Floyd Billington was the winner of Seth Carlson and Justin Sheridan. Segment two went to Seth Carlson with Will Hull in second and Brandon Piastka in third. Segment three went once again to Carlson with Justin Phillips in second and Will Hull in third. The overall unofficial finish changed after a recheck of the handicappers addition, (sorry I have been a bit preoccupied this past week) the official overall top five for their event were Seth Carlson, Floyd Billington, Will Hull, Brandon Piastka, and Joe Krawiec. This is the final 2020 event for the USAC DMA Midgets.
In the C.A. Miller Limited Late Models Tyler Robbie Williams gets the win over Todd Dunham and George Osgood, Matt Piper and Nicholas Longley crossed the line in fourth and fifth.
In the LaValley’s Building Supply Dirt Stockers Chris Murray is the big winner in his first appearance at the Ridge over Jesse Dunham and Kaleb Shepard. Lucas Wheeler and Chris Cole completed the top five.
In the Peanuts Auto Four Cylinders two features were run once again. Kevin LaForest grabs the win in the first feature with Kaleb Shepard coming home in second and Thomas Brown in third. Robert Audet and Rick Stygles completed the top five. The second segment went to Zach Audet with Buddy Welch in second and Blake Buccellato in third, a post race inspection D’qd Buccellato, moving Logan Martin to to third Jason Porter fourth and Devin Bell to fifth.
The WYKR Sprint cars of New England a new feature winner is given the checkers as Floyd Billington beat out Will Hull and Chris Donnelly for the top victory lane spot. Hull and Donnelly crossed the line second and third respectfully. Scott Holcomb and Jacob Williams completed the top five.
