LIME ROCK PARK ANNOUNCES NEW INITIATIVES TO FUND RAISE FOR THE MICHAEL J. FOX FOUNDATION FOR PARKINSON’S RESEARCH
LAKEVILLE, Conn.—The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research has been selected as Lime Rock Park’s official charity for this year’s season, announced Lime Rock Park President Skip Barber.
“Each year, Lime Rock Park selects an official charity to support throughout the year and we’re pleased to select The Michael J. Fox Foundation as this year’s benefactor,” Barber said. “This charity is especially near and dear to our hearts, as our good friend and former race car driver Sam Posey has Parkinson’s. Sam has been a champion, not only on the track, but as an advocate for finding a cure for the disease. Through our fundraising efforts this year, we hope to have an impact on the lives of all of those who urgently need a cure, including Sam.”

LAKEVILLE, CONN. (Feb. 6, 2018)—Lime Rock Park, the historic motorsports and entertainment destination nestled among the hills of Northwest Connecticut, will once again offer racing on Memorial Day Monday while hosting the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC). The last time auto races occurred on Memorial Day Monday was 2011.
Fans will now enjoy four days of events, including practices and qualifying on Friday, May 25; racing on Saturday, May 26; a car show on Sunday, May 27; and continued racing on Monday, May 28, 2018.

CORVETTE RACING AT LIME ROCK PARK: Third-Row Start for Pair of Chevrolet Corvettes
Milner fifth, Magnussen sixth in qualifying ahead of GT-only race
LAKEVILLE, Connecticut (July 21, 2017) – Corvette Racing will go for another victory at Lime Rock Park on Saturday from the third row after qualifying for the Northeast Grand Prix – the team’s seventh race in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Tommy Milner and Jan Magnussen will start side by side in the pair of Mobil 1/SiriusXM Chevrolet Corvette C7.Rs. In Friday’s qualifying, Milner set the team’s best time at 50.720 (104.638 mph) in the No. 4 Corvette C7.R he shares with Oliver Gavin. Magnussen, teaming with Antonio Garcia in the No. 3 Corvette, was 0.01 seconds back at 50.730 (104.576 mph).

DETROIT (July 18, 2017) – Corvette Racing returns this week to the site of one of its biggest landmark achievements as it continues to race toward what would be another championship at the top level of sports car racing. The team scored its 100th all-time victory a year ago at Lime Rock Park, which plays host this weekend to the Northeast Grand Prix for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
