SBT Racing announces team roster for 2018 East Coast Snocross Conx2share Series

OTTSVILLE, Pennsylvania (Nov. 6, 2017) – As temperatures continue to fall across the northeast and forecasts of accumulating snow become the norm, another highly-competitive snowmobile race team is gearing up for a busy winter ahead.

Pennsylvania-based SBT Racing owner Steven J. Max and Race Director Nate Tatro announced on Friday the team’s roster for the 2018 East Coast Snocross (ECS) Conx2share series. SBT Racing is posied to make a unique, dual-brand, five-rider assault on the points titles from Juniors to Pro Lite.

CLARKSBURG, Mass. (Sept. 22, 2017) – An exciting new class for youth racers and a new venue in Maine are among the changes ahead in 2018, as officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) prepare to usher the sport into a new era.

Leading the list of positive changes emerging during the off-season is a new 200cc class for young racers. This class will be based on the exciting new Arctic Cat ZR200 and Yamaha Sno-Scoot models introduced late last winter. Riders ages 6-12 will run Stock, ages 7-16 can run Improved Stock.

FINDLEY LAKE, New York (March 28, 2017) — Vermont veteran Leo Patenaude swept the Pro Open finals over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed its 2017 season finale at the Peek’n Peak Resort.

Patenaude, of Hartland, powered by his younger brother Hunter early in Saturday’s 10-lap final and hung on for top honors. Hunter gave Ingles Performance a 1-2 finish with a second-place effort, while Pro Open Rookie-of-the-Year Cody Paolella (Team Southside/Polaris) crossed the stripe in third.

CLARKSBURG, Mass. (March 10, 2017) – As arctic air settles back in over New England and talk of a major snow storm for next week begins to circulate, snowmobile race teams and fans have a reason to get excited.

After the originally scheduled Round 5 in Syracuse, NY, was canceled due to a lack of snow, officials and teams at East Coast Snocross (ECS) will get back into action on Saturday and Sunday, March 18-19, at the beautiful Mount Southington ski area in Plantsville, Connecticut.

PLATTSBURGH, New York (Feb. 27, 2017) – Norwegian racer Kristoffer Holm notched his first clean sweep of the Pro Mod finals over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 4 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds.

Holm (Team Southside/Polaris), of Storslet, Norway, dominated Friday’s Pro Mod final (a first under the lights) after nailing a perfect start. Leo Patenaude (Ingles Performance/Ski-doo) crossed the stripe in second, while Cody Paolella (Team Southside/Polaris) filled out the podium in third.
