W Lebanon NH – Bear Ridge Speedway honored the champions from its 52nd season of dirt track stock car racing on Saturday November 16th. More than 300 drivers, crew members, sponsors, fans, and officials filled a sold-out banquet hall at the Fire Side Inn W Lebanon NH for the gala, where more than $25,000 in prizes and point fund purses was awarded.
Lots of racing and double points proved the saying true, “it’s not over till it’s over” in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds and the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes in the points battle for these two divisions. The way it started is the way it ended in the points battle for the C.A. Miller Limited Late Models and the Peanuts Auto Four Cylinders. Three drivers earned their right into the Modified Growler with each feature seeing a new driver taking the checkers and a last chance qualifier for the non winners of the season allowing more driver to be qualified. Rained out events were what were on tap for the night. The first round of features were for rained out sponsor Dennis Preston Builder the second round of features were for rained out sponsor Sabil & Sons.
