Bear Ridge Speedway<\/p><\/div>Bruleugh Memorial Midseason Championship night recorded in the books<\/p>\n Matt Ellsworth gets his first win in the DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes<\/p>\n Seth Carlson grabs his first in the USAC Laquerre\u2019s Sports DMA Midgets<\/p>\n Terry Williams get his first in the DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds It can be hard to tell if it is double points or full moon sometimes as drivers seem to forget at the end of the day it is still just a night of racing. Mid-Season Championships means Double Points for everyone, and plenty of hot racing excitement for the fans as everyone wants to get those extra coveted points. The Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds had a old new face back in town for the night. Kevin White the Front-End Specialist for NASCAR driver Cole Whitt, has found our hidden gem and makes the trek up from NHMS every year when they are in town to sit behind the wheel of whatever machine we can find for him. With little time for setup and testing the backup car for Ryan Christian was his ride once again. A push would keep him out of contention leaving him to watch as Terry Williams coming from mid pack made his way to the front to grab the point. Williams would survive the Double Points caution maylay and early single file restarts to grab the win over Derek Graham and Matt Lashua who came home in third. Walt Hammond Jr crossed the line in fourth with last week\u2019s winner Robert Tucker taking home fifth.<\/p>\n Matt Ellsworth finally gets his first win in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes. With double points on line for mid-season championships, the heat was extra hot on the track and several cautions would wave causing management to restart in single file for most of the night. With all the restarts bunching the field back up making staying on the point more challenging with every restart. When the checkers waved on their special forty lap main event it was Ellsworth for the win with Brian Chaffee in second and Todd Hayward in third. Danny Doyle and Tom Placey completed the top five.<\/p>\n The Laquerre\u2019s Sports USAC DMA Midgets saw a new winner as Seth Carlson was able to hold of the field for their twenty-five lap event. Coming home in second was team mate Derek O\u2019Hearn, with Joe Krawiec crossing the line in third. Adam Whitney and Jeff Horn completed the top five. The USAC DMA Midgets will return for action July 29th.<\/p>\n In the C.A. Miller Limited Late Models Ryan Christian gets the win once again over Wayland Childs with Bryan Campbell joining them in victory lane in third. Jon Neddo and Kevin Dickinson completed the top five.<\/p>\n Another Bell grabs the win in the Weglarz Property Service, this week it was Bobby Bell in the 24 beating out Steve Bell in the 12 to grab the checkers over Jesse Durkee who crossed the line in third. Buddy Welch made it home in fourth with Sean Perron taking home fifth.<\/p>\n Bear Ridge Speedway\u2019s 50th season of dirt car racing continues Saturday, July 22nd with the C.A.
