American Canadian Tour<\/p><\/div>Laperle Outduels Payea for Win in Caron Fabrication 151<\/strong><\/p>\n

Groveton, NH \u2013 St-Denis, QC\u2019s Patrick Laperle outdueled defending American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Champion Scott Payea during a final 4-lap sprint to win the Caron Fabrication 151 at Groveton, NH\u2019s Speedway 51 on Saturday, June 2. Payea got the initial edge on the outside following a lap-147 restart, but Laperle powered back by him to take his 19th career ACT Late Model Tour victory.
\n<\/p>\n

Payea finished second to extend his point lead after his nearest challengers, Eddie MacDonald and Jimmy Hebert, were both involved in a lap-62 crash. Rich Dubeau, Corey Mason, and Mike Kension rounded out the top-5.<\/p>\n

ACT will be back in action at Connecticut\u2019s New London-Waterford Speedbowl on Saturday, June 16 for the second leg of the $5,000-to-win Summer Showdown Series. Post time is 5:00pm.<\/p>\n
