NAPLES, ME (June 12) \u2013 Following a trip to Canada and an off weekend, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models return to U.S. soil to compete at Speedway 95 in Hermon, ME on Sunday afternoon. The speedway known as \u201cMaine\u2019s Family Fun Track\u201d will host race number eight of the 2018 season for New England\u2019s top Super Late Model stars.
\n<\/p>\n

Currently, former series champions, Travis Benjamin and DJ Shaw, along with New Hampshire\u2019s, Derek Griffith, are locked in a tight three-way battle for the PASS North title. But, sitting not far behind in fourth is Scarborough, ME\u2019s, Garrett Hall. While still winless so far this year, Hall is quite familiar with Speedway 95, having won this event there just two years ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe track is bumpy, fast and fun,\u201d says Hall, driver of the Norm\u2019s Used Cars Chevrolet #94. \u201cThe high side has a little more banking on it and you can keep your momentum going up there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sitting just 54 markers behind the points leader, Benjamin, Hall believes this weekend at Speedway 95, and the races leading up to the 45th Annual Oxford 250 in August, are pivotal to make up ground to the front runners for the championship.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really important because the competition is so tough and there\u2019s 10 cars that can win every week,\u201d says Hall. \u201cWe\u2019re hoping to turn things around and get a win on Sunday at Speedway 95.\u201d<\/p>\n

While much of the attention will be on the points leaders, the leading PASS winner at Speedway 95 with three wins, Ben Rowe, will also be looking to return to victory lane there for the first time in 15 years. Chad Dow, Gary Smith, and Wyatt Alexander have also filed entries as they look to join the 2018 group of PASS North race winners.<\/p>\n

All the action gets under way on Sunday morning at Speedway 95 with rotating practice for all competing divisions from 11 AM \u2013 1 PM, followed by heat races and features beginning at 1:30 PM for the PASS North Super Late Models, PASS Modifieds, and Street Stocks.<\/p>\n

PASS Super Late Model entry forms for upcoming events at Oxford Plains Speedway, Spud Speedway, and Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, along with the 45th Annual Oxford 250 and Inaugural Commonwealth Classic at Richmond Raceway, can be found at ProAllStarsSeries.com.<\/p>\n
