The race will mark round five of 12 for the series and the first of two appearances on the Island this season. Greg Proude (Springvale, PE) won the only race hosted at Oyster Bed Speedway last season and will lead a strong contingent of Island drivers looking to impress at their home track. Qualifying for the Parts for Trucks 150 gets underway with Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races at 6:00 PM.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The chase for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Championship is heating up as we approach the second half of the season. Less than 20 points separate the top three drivers with Cole Butcher (Porter\u2019s Lake, NS) sitting atop the leader board. Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) picks up a spot and moves to second after his second win of the season last weekend at Scotia Speedworld. Reigning Series champ Shawn Turple (Enfield, NS) also had a great finish at the Nova Truck Centres 150 and currently sits third. Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) and Island driver Darren MacKinnon (Charlottetown, PE) continue to keep pace with the leaders and round out the top five respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the Parts for Trucks 150 the Oyster Bed Speedway Outlaws will run a 50 lap feature. The Maritime League of Legends Tour will also compete in a 50 lap feature.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the Parts for Trucks 150 will be available at the gates on race day. Adult admission is $25.00, youth (8-15yrs) $10.00 and children 7 and under are free.
