The Sprint Cars of New England were on hand with Matt Hoyt winning in a dominant performance.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>     Stephen Lary blasted into the lead from the pole position when the initial green flag flew in the Peanut\u2019s Auto Sportsman Modifieds. Lary would lead the first six laps of the event before the high flying Todd Buckwold would take the lead after starting sixth on the field. Just a lap after losing the lead Lary would be involved in an incident with Jeff Huntington in turn two, ending his night. On the restart Buckwold would once again take command and run to a dominating victory to extend his point lead. Ricky Sanville finished a strong second with Lenny Pillsbury finishing third for the second week in a row. Jeff Huntington and David Heath completed the top five.<\/p>\n<p>     The Sprint Cars of New England were on hand tonight for the second time this year. Matt Hoyt led the entire distance in the caution free event but had to fend off the late race challenges of Will Hull to take the win. Jake Williams was third with Kevin Chaffee finishing fourth and Luke Greenwood, who started scratch on the field, finished fifth.<\/p>\n<p>     The Homestead Creations Sportsman Late Model Main Event saw defending Champion Matt Pike jump to the lead from the outside pole position at the drop of the green, maintaining the lead for the entire event to take his first win of the season. Perennial front runner Toby Stark was second with Scott Heath holding off all challengers for third. After a back and forth battle for fourth, Russell Coutu took the spot with Travis Smith fifth.<\/p>\n<p>     The Rand\u2019s Hardware Mini Stock Main Event found Tim Davis take the top spot when the green flag flew, his lead was short lived however as Tim St. John claimed the lead after just two circuits. Meanwhile a torrid battle for second ensued between Mike McClay and Jacob Brown with McClay eventually taking the spot, setting his sights on leader St. John. After a brief battle McClay took the lead just before the halfway point of the event and went on to take the win. Jacob Brown finished second with point Leader Erin Aiken third. Jack Cook and Tim Davis rounded out the top five.<\/p>\n<p>     This Friday, July 13th, in addition to the regular divisions of the O\u2019Reilly Auto Parts Twilight Racing Series both the Granite State Mini Sprints and the Wingless Auto Club will be in action.<\/p>\n<p>     The Legion Speedway is located on Route 25 at the Wentworth\/Rumney NH Town line with racing every Friday Night at 7:00 PM.
