American Canadian Tour<\/p><\/div>MacDonald Scores Season Sweep at Oxford to Tighten Championship Chase<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oxford, ME \u2013 Rowley, MA\u2019s Eddie \u201cThe Outlaw\u201d MacDonald controlled the second half of the Oxford Plains 150 on Saturday, August 25 en route to his second American-Canadian Tour (ACT) win of the season. MacDonald took the lead from polesitter Evan Hallstrom of Northfield, VT on lap 52 and held off several challenges from Williamstown, VT\u2019s Jimmy Hebert to score the ACT season sweep at Oxford Plains Speedway.<\/p>\n

Hebert finished second followed by Hallstrom in third. Max Dolliver and Rowland Robinson Jr. rounded out the top-5. Both MacDonald and Hebert made significant gains on Milton, VT\u2019s Scott Payea after the point leader was involved in two separate incidents and relegated to a 10th-place result.
\n<\/p>\n

The ACT Late Model Tour heads to Barre, VT\u2019s Thunder Road Speedbowl for the Coca-Cola Labor Day Classic on Sunday, September 2. The finale of the Summer Showdown Series will see $5,000 go to the winner of the 200-lap event. Post time is 1:00pm. Admission for the five-division card is $25 for adults and free for kids ages 12 and under.<\/p>\n
