There will be a three year roll out of this program culminating with all engines being required to comply during the 2022 season. The rules and technical specifications for this program going forward will be found on the GSPSS website which will be updated by Jan. 1 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp; \u2018The current program as it exists isn\u2019t bad, but we feel like we need to get back to a seal program\u201d series president Mike Parks said. \u201cWe feel like the program that Rick has developed will best serve the series and its competitors\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp; The seal program that has been chosen is the RPM seal alliance, a system of checks and balances being set up and maintained by Rick Paya at RPM racing engines. Currently there are seven engine builders in New England and Canada eligible to seal, work on and check these engines within the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp; \u201cCurrently there are there are approximately 350 motors registered in the program which was started in 2015\u201d states Paya. \u201cwe look to collaborate with each of the registered builders to insure the integrity of the program, while working to build a stronger and more robust benefit to each series or track, utilizing the alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp; In addition, new engine builders are encouraged to inquire about joining the alliance.&nbsp; When asked about this process Paya said \u201cAll potential new builders will be vetted for ability as well as credibility and any builder not remaining in compliance with rules and regulations of the program will be eliminated.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp; In addition to the GM 604 option, the series is working with Paya to develop a competitive option for teams who are interested in running Ford Power.
