It is the final countdown and last-minute track preparations are in full swing to be ready to open the doors on our 52nd<\/sup> season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Saturday May 4th<\/sup> it is the annual car show at its new location for 2019, this year at the Bradford Fair Grounds, Bradford VT where the cars and stars will be judged, and the top three recognized for their accomplishment. Then the first practice session will follow in the afternoon. The 99ROCK wfrd<\/em> weekly racing season will then see weekly competition in all five divisions starting that same night<\/strong> May 4th<\/sup> sponsored by FMS NAPA of Bradford, the proud sponsor of Bear Ridge Speedway\u2019s opening night for over two decades. Racing will kick into gear at 5:30 pm(ish), based on track conditions.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

All five of the 99ROCK wfrd weekly racing series divisions will be on hand, the SABIL & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, USAC DMA Midgets, C.A. Miller Limited Late Models, and the Peanut\u2019s Auto Four Cylinders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fans, it\u2019s not too late to get your season pass for 2019. The season pass price is $180.00 for adults, $150.00 for teens and seniors.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2019 driver and crew membership applications are now available on the website. Be sure to get yours sent in early to beat the lines on opening day. To be eligible for the Bear Ridge Speedway points fund, and recognized at the annual awards banquet, this year on November 16th<\/sup>, drivers must hold a 2019 Bear Ridge Speedway or DIRTcar license, compete in the required number of events and run on track designated tires as indicated in the rule book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price of opening night general admission (front gate) ticket for adults (ages 17 to 61) is $12.00 a person and children 11 and under $2.00. Teens 12 to 16 and seniors 62 and older is $10.00. If you stop by F.M.S. NAPA Auto Parts in Bradford VT they can get you a $2.00 discount coupon good for opening night only, just by stopping in and saying hi to the great NAPA team.  Military Discounts are available at $2.00 off for those with a valid ID. The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2018 license holders is $25.00. Non-license holders are $30.00 (both prices are in addition<\/em> to the front gate ticket.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2019 kid’s club membership is only $12.00 per child, infant to 11 years old, ($10.00 with front gate ticket stub), and once you are a member you get in free the rest of the season!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t forget you will be able to hear all the highlights from the week before and what is coming up every Friday morning from 6:45 to 7:00 on WYKR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
