He\u2019ll be driving his No. 34 Pleasant View Garage Chevy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bullring Bash has been an event that Blaskey has been looking forward to for quite some time now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re pretty excited. We\u2019ve been talking about it since it first came out.&nbsp;We\u2019re looking forward to it. Looking forward to the competition. That\u2019s what we want. We want to run with the best guys.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along with the strong field of Legends cars expected for Sunday, the massive payout for competitors was the chief reason Blaskey chose to put his name on the entry list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s the purse,\u201d Blaskey said. \u201cThese cars are supposed to be inexpensive, and they\u2019re far from that. The payout where we were racing was very little. When we see some of these races where it\u2019s attractive for us with a bigger payout, of course we want to enter. It\u2019s nice to see someone put something together with us in mind to try and help out the sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI think Legends cars get kind of overlooked because they\u2019re kind of like a step-up class, but they\u2019re also a class for guys like myself who aren\u2019t going to race Modifieds or Late Models.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Blaskey also sees the event as an opportunity to show race fans what Legends cars of made of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou want to showcase it because you\u2019re proud of what you\u2019re doing,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m proud of some of the guys I run with. There\u2019s guys I know who I can run door-to-door with and not bat an eyelash and feel safe.
