Thompson, CT<\/em> \u2013 Williamstown, VT\u2019s Jimmy Hebert pulled away late to win a barnburner in the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Thompson 75 at Connecticut\u2019s Thompson Speedway on Saturday, June 15. Hebert got the lead for good from E. Bridgewater, MA\u2019s Ryan Kuhn on lap 67 after the two had swapped the lead multiple times during the events closing stages. He then took advantage of a slugfest for the runner-up spot to earn the $5,000 victory in round two of the Summer Kickoff Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Bellingham, MA\u2019s Woody Pitkat edged Newmarket NH\u2019s Ryan Kuhn as the pair traded blows in the final circuits. Colchester, VT\u2019s Scott Payea took fourth with Kuhn fifth as a pack of six cars crossed the line inches apart. ACT will have more on this event shortly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ACT Late Model Tour begins the second half of its 2019 season at Epping, NH\u2019s Star Speedway on Saturday, June 29 with the Dream Ride 150. Post time is 4:30pm for the final round of the Summer Kickoff Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
