With a mission to get people to drink more water, Liquid Death is creating one of the first sustainable alternatives to plastic bottled water \u2013 while making it fun and entertaining with their name choice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thompson Speedway\u2019s Icebreaker is the annual beginning of the New England racing season, with a practice session on Friday, and two days of racing, headlined by the second race of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season. The Whelen Modified Tour event will be titled the Liquid Death 150&nbsp;and will take place on Sunday afternoon, airing live on NBC Sports Gold\u2019s&nbsp;TrackPass&nbsp;platform and tape delayed on NBCSN.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the Icebreaker, Liquid Death will continue with the track for the duration of the 80<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;season of racing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We\u2019re really happy to welcome Liquid Death to the racing family at Thompson,\u201d Terry Eames, General Manager of Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, said. \u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to our partnership with them and hope everyone has the chance to try some of their product during the season.&nbsp;The Icebreaker is quickly&nbsp;approaching,&nbsp;and we are preparing for another successful&nbsp;event.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Liquid Death products are available on their&nbsp;website,&nbsp;liquiddeath.com, and on Amazon, the&nbsp;world&#8217;s&nbsp;largest online retailer.&nbsp;Their&nbsp;product is also carried in thousands of locations throughout the United States&nbsp;&#8212;&nbsp;and starting in March&nbsp;&#8212;&nbsp;will be available at Whole Foods Market nationwide. Liquid Death will be available for purchase during Icebreaker weekend.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of their initiative, Liquid Death\u2019s motto is #DeathToPlastic, where a portion of every can sold goes to the nonprofits 5 Gyres and&nbsp;Thrist&nbsp;Project, who are helping to fight plastic pollution and bring clean drinking water to those in need.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re stoked to be partnering with Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park as they kick-off their racing season,\u201d Hamid&nbsp;Saify, VP of marketing for Liquid Death, said. \u201cWe couldn\u2019t think of a better race than the Icebreaker to introduce fans to our ice-cold tallboys of thirst-murdering mountain water. #DeathToPlastic.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A full division lineup for the Liquid Death Icebreaker will be released next week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Camping for the Liquid Death&nbsp;Icebreaker&nbsp;weekend&nbsp;is open and can be purchased by visiting the reservations tab of the&nbsp;ThompsonSpeedway.com website or calling&nbsp;860-923-2280&nbsp;during business hours. Camping spots for the Icebreaker are&nbsp;$50, and&nbsp;50\u2019 long by 20\u2019 wide. Reservations&nbsp;do&nbsp;not guarantee any&nbsp;specific&nbsp;spot.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cancellations must be received 24 business hours in advance of the event in order to receive a full refund. Fans should note that online registration closes on March&nbsp;27<sup>t<\/sup><sup>h<\/sup>&nbsp;at&nbsp;4&nbsp;p.m.,&nbsp;and&nbsp;after&nbsp;that,&nbsp;all&nbsp;registrations&nbsp;must&nbsp;be&nbsp;made&nbsp;on-property&nbsp;for&nbsp;$75.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Race teams are encouraged to note that the Icebreaker practice on Friday is a separate pass for entry compared to the Saturday-Sunday ticket. Practice on Friday is just $20 admission, while a paddock pass for Saturday-Sunday is $60. Anyone wishing to enter just the grandstands for Saturday-Sunday can purchase a general admission ticket at $55, with seniors, veterans and active military $50. Kids 12 and under are free in the grandstands, general admission.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park will run six NASCAR&nbsp;events during the 2020 racing season, beginning with the Icebreaker&nbsp;and ending with the Sunoco World Series.
