Tuesday night events live at 8 PM ET feature Dirt Track stars vs. Racing\u2019s Elite as Eldora Speedway makes iRacing Network Television Debut<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

CHARLOTTE, NC <\/strong>\u2014 April 25, 2020 \u2014 The World of Outlaws is bringing its fan-favorite style of live virtual racing to CBS Sports Network starting Tuesday, April 28, when the dirt track specialists of \u201cThe Greatest Show on Dirt\u201d take on some of the world\u2019s greatest racers in a series of one-hour doubleheader eDirt Racing Shootouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday\u2019s World of Outlaws: eDirt Racing Shootout marks the first time CBS Sports Network has televised virtual racing. And for this special event, Team Penske driver and NASCAR Cup Champion Joey Logano<\/strong> will make his World of Outlaws debut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The World of Outlaws iRacing Invitationals are the only place where dirt aces like Champions Brad Sweet<\/strong> and Brandon Sheppard<\/strong>, Knoxville Nationals winner David Gravel<\/strong>, three-time DIRTcar Summer Nationals Champ Bobby Pierce<\/strong>, and Hall-of-Fame legend Scott Bloomquist<\/strong> will ever line up next to two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Juan Pablo Montoya<\/strong>, Daytona 500 winner Austin Dillon<\/strong>, NASCAR Cup star William Byron<\/strong>, NASCAR Xfinity standout Chase Briscoe<\/strong> and NHRA champions Ron Capps<\/strong> and Cruz Pedregon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The World of Outlaws racing series famously runs the most grueling schedules in motorsports, barnstorming from coast-to-coast for nearly 140 races a year.  The races are open to all, with the best local racers defending their home turf against the best in the business. But in today\u2019s virtual world, the Outlaws are the dirt track locals, defending their turf against some of motorsports biggest stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe World of Outlaws features the toughest and most fierce dirt track racers anywhere,\u201d World of Outlaws CMO Ben Geisler said. \u201cEven in a virtual world very new to them, I\u2019d take our guys all day long, even against some of the most talented wheelmen to ever strap in. The winners will be the fans and viewers, who get to see the best of the best compete head-to-head on Tuesday nights in a 3-episode run on historic dirt tracks across the country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The string of one-hour telecasts on Tuesdays at 8 PM ET kicks off at historic Eldora Speedway. \u201cThe World\u2019s Greatest Dirt Track\u201d is home to the Kings Royal and World 100. The iRacing event will feature the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
