As the country battles the Covid 19 pandemic, The Claremont Motorsports Park season, unfortunately is on hold. \u201cThe health and safety of our fans and race teams is our number one priority\u201d, stated track operator Mike Parks. \u201cAs much as we want to be at the track every Friday night we will respect the directives of our Governor\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newenglandracingnews.com\/16\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/unnamed.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26064\" width=\"286\" height=\"203\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Tri Track Modified Series event scheduled for Sunday May 24<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;is also on hold for the foreseeable future. Several conversations have taken place between series owner Wayne Darling and Parks and once a solid time line is established every attempt will be made to reschedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are in a situation where we have more questions than answers. We want to get the gates open just as soon as we can whether that is for practice or competition\u201d said Parks. \u201cIf we can come up with a way to work with the state and get open for practice we will do that\u201d. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At this time the posted schedule has been put on hold with the intention of picking it up on the date permitted.&nbsp; If for any reason something changes track officials will adjust accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During a break in recent track preparations Parks lamented, \u201cthis is not how we envisioned our first venture in season long track promotions.
