Helliwell led all 150 laps after starting on the pole and won uncontested.<\/p>\n<p>Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. won a hard fought battle for the runner-up position, beating Eric Chase who completed the podium. Austin Theriault and Brian Hoar completed the top five after swapping paint several time over the final laps. Ray Parent, Brent Dragon, Jimmy Hebert, Ricky Rolfe, and Randy Potter rounded out the top ten.<\/p>\n<p>Helliwell crushed the field, lapping all but the top eleven cars. The 150 lap event was completed in one hour and five minutes with eight cautions. Twenty-two of the thirty-one cars that took the green flag were on the track for the checkers.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It was Helliwell\u2019s second career ACT win and his second win in three events. It will keep him atop the point standings just ahead of Polewarczyk who claimed his second straight runner-up finish and his fourth top five in the first five events.<\/p>\n<p>Helliwell already qualified for the Bond Auto ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 22 with his Spring Green win at Devil\u2019s Bowl Speedway in May. Other qualifiers to date include, Brian Hoar, Ben Ashline, Karl Allard, Donald Theetge and Nick Sweet.<\/p>\n<p>The American Canadian Tour Late Model teams have the next month before heading to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway for the sixth event on the ten event 2012 ACT schedule on Saturday, July 28.
