\nJoey Doiron of Berwick, Maine, looks for his second PASS North Series win of the season in the PASS 150 at Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, Mass., on Saturday, August 4. Doiron has always considered Seekonk Speedway one of his favorite stops on the PASS circuit, likening it to Star Speedway \u2013 another of his favorite tracks where he has encountered success over the last couple of seasons. The No. 73 JBJ Machine\/Scarborough Downs Chevrolet is looking to rebound from a recent run of bad luck to get back into the championship picture.

\nJoey Doiron will cap his weekend with an appearance at Scarborough Downs harness racing track on Sunday, July 5. Doiron will have his race car on display and be available to sign autographs from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
\nIn 2010, Joey Doiron was a victim of a heat race accident at Seekonk Speedway before starting last in the main event and driving all the way to an eighth-place finish.<\/p>\n

WHAT THEY ARE SAYING
\nJOEY DOIRON, Driver of the No. 73 JBJ Machine\/Scarborough Downs Chevrolet, On heading to Seekonk Speedway this weekend: \u201cThis is definitely one of my favorites. It’s a unique track. It’s probably one of those tracks where a driver can make up a little without a perfect car.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has a lot of character. It’s rough, round, and there’s not a lot of banking. It puts on a good race, and it’s definitely a fun place to drive.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the style of racing at Seekonk: \u201cIt’s a place where you can pass, and that’s what I like about it.
\nIt’s a track where you have to take care of your car and not get torn up, obviously, because then it will be a really long night. But you can get up on the wheel and gain a couple spots by wanting it more than the guys in front of you.\u201d<\/p>\n

On how he’s approaching the final five races of the season: \u201cAfter last week (at Oxford) and having that bad luck, it threw a lot of our championship hopes away. If we could have finished where we had a car to run, we’d still be in the thick of it. Realistically, we’re hunting for third now \u2013 it will be hard to catch (Cassius Clark and Travis Benjamin) unless they falter.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow that we’ve put last week behind us, I think now I just want to win another race this year. If we can go out and win this weekend or at White Mountain (Motorsports Park) or someplace \u2013 and if those guys have some bad luck \u2013 that would put us back in it.\u201d<\/p>\n
