The last time I was there, it was back in the 1990s. It’s not an easy track to drive – that dogleg is pretty wild. It’s tricky, but that’s what’s going to make it interesting for all the competitors that have never run there before.”

On ACT teams now having big-track experience with the races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in recent years: “It’s everything. For us to go back to Sanair and nobody having run a big track since Sanair in ’06, it would have given certain individuals with big-track experience a little bit of an advantage. But now all the top competitors have this Loudon experience, so speed’s not going to be an issue for the majority of the field.

“The track really used to race out well, and hopefully it will again now. I hear the track’s not gotten any younger.”

On being invited back to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for next month’s ACT Invitational: “Loudon is the premier sporting facility in New England. It’s big, it’s beautiful. When we go to the Invitational with all the NASCAR and media attention that’s there – all the eyes of stock-car racing in America follow the Cup Series and are paying attention. It’s pretty awesome.

“Last year, winning there (in August) was a big deal for us. It would be a huge, huge, huge win for all of us on this team to win the Invitational in that kind of atmosphere.”

UP NEXT
The ACT Late Model Tour and ACT Castrol Series lock horns in a second consecutive combination event with the ACT 200 at Riverside Speedway in St. Croix, Quebec, on Saturday, August 25… Brian Hoar and RPM Motorsports won the event last year as part of a weekend sweep of two events in the province of Quebec.

RPM Motorsports: ACT Late Model Tour Brian Hoar Sanair Super Speedway Race Preview THE STORY Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., joins the ACT Late Model Tour for its return to Sanair Super Speedway in St-Pie, Quebec, with the Sanair 100 on Saturday, August 11.
