Augusta racers Norm Cummings, Jr. and Shane Smith were fourth and fifth under the checkered flag. Lancaster won the heat race.

Shaun Austin’s triumph came in a wild Super Street main event in which even the winning driver was involved in a couple of on-track altercations. Ed ‘Fubby’ Drake of Vassalboro made things interesting right up until the checkered flag waved, and finished in second position. Donnie York of Thorndike celebrated his birthday with a third-place finish in the night’s most competitive feature race. Stvee Moulton of Glenburn led the race early, but had to settle for a fourth-place finish. John Kalel II of Orrington was the fifth-place finisher. York won the heat race.

Andy Turbovsky’s victory was the result of a late charge from behind in the Wildcat division main event.. ‘Turbo’ just managed to edge out hometown Unity competitor Dustin Hubbard, whose second-place finish snapped a long string of mechanical misfortune that had cut several nights short for the teenager. Brent Chase of Burnham prevailed in a racelong battle for third with reigning division champion Carl McAlpine. Shawn Racilla of Dover-Foxcroft completed the top-five rundown. Turbovsky also aced the heat race.

Bob Grady of Pittston led all the way in the Monsta Mini feature event, stopping a long winning streak posted by reigning division champion and current point leader Mike Wilson of Chelsea.
