One of the northeast’s most anticipated racing extravaganzas is fast approaching! Thursday September 13th through Sunday September 16th Beech Ridge Motor Speedway hosts PASS 400 weekend presented by Southern Maine Motors.com. It’s an event that will showcase eleven different racing divisions from PASS Super Late Models to the mighty NEMA Midgets.<\/p>\n
The action will be fast and furious on Thursday September 13 when the Mid Week Open Series gets the green; Mad Bombers, Outlaws, Stock Fours and Mini Trucks are the stars. There’s 50 laps and $500.00 to win for a 25 car field in each division and these racers are guaranteed to kick of the long weekend of racing in style. First heat is set for 5:45 PM

Friday September 14 will be a practice day for all the Saturday and Sunday classes; PASS Super Late Models, PASS Mods, PASS Sportsman, Wildcats, Legends, NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lites will rotate turns on the track from noon until 6:10 PM.<\/p>\n
Saturday September 15 is a busy day with qualifying for all divisions plus NEMA Midget, NEMA Lite and NELCAR Legends features on tap. Then there’s Saturday Wildcats\/Strictly Street feature. It’s a class that usually races 20 or 25 laps for a modest purse but these teams will be in the spotlight for 75 laps with a $1000.00 pay check to the winner. The extra laps and big payday is sure to attract the best of the best to Beech Ridge. Practice rolls off at 9:15 AM and the first qualifier goes green at 12:15 sharp.<\/p>\n
Sunday is PASS feature day and the prelims leading up to the PASS 300 are a can’t miss. NEMA Midgets, NEMA Lites, PASS Mods and PASS Sportsman get the party started. The PASS Sportsman feature will see the PASS regulars take on challengers from throughout the region in a 100 lap, $2,000.00 to win showdown guaranteed to be one of the weekend ‘s highlights.
