{"id":1232,"date":"2009-08-15T07:22:21","date_gmt":"2009-08-15T12:22:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newenglandracingnews.com\/blog\/?p=9076"},"modified":"2009-08-15T07:22:21","modified_gmt":"2009-08-15T12:22:21","slug":"dearborn-files-first-pass-300-entry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newenglandracingnews.com\/blog\/2009\/08\/dearborn-files-first-pass-300-entry\/","title":{"rendered":"Dearborn Files First PASS 300 Entry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt\">Naples  ME (8\/15\/2009) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) <span> <\/span>National Championship trail winds<span> <\/span>north to Scarborough Maine\u2019s Beech Ridge  Motor Speedway on Saturday and Sunday <span> <\/span>September 12<sup>th<\/sup> and  13<sup>th<\/sup>,<span> <\/span>and Hollis Maine  PASS North standout Richie Dearborn has filed the first PASS 300  entry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt\">Dearborn  and his family-focused race team have supported the PASS North super late model  series from day one. When PASS made its debut at Lee USA Speedway in 2001  Dearborn raced home third. Prior to 2009 he has recorded 3 wins (6<sup>th<\/sup> all time) 22 top five (7<sup>th<\/sup> all time) and 55 top ten (4<sup>th<\/sup> all time) finishes.<span> <\/span>His 2009 season  has had its ups and down, but the team has persevered to record five top five  and nine top ten finishes in the first ten PASS North events. That consistency  has Dearborn in fourth place in the season long standings, seventy five points  behind series point leader Johnny Clark. The PASS 300 will award both PASS North  and National Championship points.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt\">Dearborn\u00a0and  his Chadwick-BaRoss sponsored team will be seeking \u00a0their\u00a0first Beech  Ridge PASS victory and the $10,000.00 winners\u2019 share of the purse when the  speedway hosts round two of the PASS National Championship Series.<span> <\/span>The big weekend is still a month away,  but already there are confirmed entries from Wisconsin (Tom Schuette) North  Carolina (Jay Fogleman, Ryan Blaney, Mark Gibson) and a host of PASS North  regulars from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and  Vermont.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt\">Ben  Rowe leads the PASS National Standings by a scant two points over Jeff Fultz.  Ryan Blaney, Trey Mitchell and Hal Goodson sit third through  fifth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt\">The  weekend will feature two days of non-stop racing. All series and divisions will  qualify on Saturday and the Wildcats, Road Runners and Legends will have feature  events. Sunday kicks off with the PASS 300 \u201cB\u201d main for the super late models.
