Vermont State Late Model Championship Series will return Friday, June 28<\/p>\n
WEST HAVEN, VT \u2013 Mother Nature will take another victory at Devil\u2019s Bowl Speedway on Friday, June 7, as consistent rainy forecasts will force the postponement of the People\u2019s United Bank 100 stock car race at the West Haven, VT track.

\nThe event is part of the four-race Vermont State Late Model Championship Series and was also scheduled to host championship races for the weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Bond Auto Parts Modifieds, Renegades, and Central Vermont Motorcycles Mini Stocks.<\/p>\n
In cooperation with Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT \u2013 the co-host site of the Vermont State Championship races \u2013 the People\u2019s United Bank 100 has been rescheduled for Friday, June 28 at 7:00pm. The recent shuffling of race events due to weather-related postponements has created several other changes in the Devil\u2019s Bowl Speedway schedule as well, which will be announced in the coming days.<\/p>\n
Rookie Derrick O\u2019Donnell of North Haverhill, NH leads the Vermont State Late Model Championship Series standings following his surprise victory in opening round at the Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic 100 on May 27 at Thunder Road. As many as 30 race teams are expected to compete in the People\u2019s United Bank 100 at Devil\u2019s Bowl Speedway on Friday, June 28.<\/p>\n
Devil\u2019s Bowl Speedway hosts the inaugural Carmody Ford \u201cSlate Valley 100\u201d \u2013 the first-ever Vermont appearance for the Granite State Pro Stock Series \u2013 on Friday, June 14 at 7:00pm. General admission is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and free for children 12 and under. <\/p>\n
