The marquee summer event already boasts a purse of over $140,000, with a guaranteed $25,000 going to the winner.<\/p>\n<p>The extra grand in qualifying turns up the heat on a race already enticing drivers from both sides of the border.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe International 500 is high up on my list, and we\u2019ve got great expectations going there,\u201d said reigning ACT Champion Wayne Helliwell, Jr. \u201cThe race will be tough from qualifying to checkers, but I can\u2019t wait to get this thing on the road. It will be one of the biggest races we\u2019ve ever been a part of,\u201d he finished.<\/p>\n<p>Top ten S\u00e9rie ACT racer Patrick Cliche is thrilled about the bonus opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur ultimate goal at the 500 is to win, but even qualifying and keeping your car in one piece can be hard in a race like this with so much competition.
