The Granite State Mini-Sprints visited the Legion Speedway in Wentworth, NH on July 14 as part of their Sunday Twilight series. <\/p>\n
Kyle Beliveau borrowed his father, Peter’s 500cc Mini-Sprint (#76) and used it to win the division’s feature event of the evening. Josh Boisseneau (#05) made a real battle of it but had to settle for second. Shenia Covey (#20) held off challenges from Patrick Smith (#21) and Tom Chaffee (#11) to finish third.<\/p>\n
Luke Greenwood (#89) continued his dominance of the 600cc Mini-Sprint class with yet another main event win. Jake Williams (#73) put up a valiant battle and in the end had his hands full holding off Brian Gray (#3). The two drivers finished second and third respectively.

\nArt Heino’s #27 led from the pole in a caution-free Sportsmen Modified feature. Behind him a battle raged between “Racin'” Jason Sanville (#96), Chad Turck (#56), and Gary Seimons (#51). They finished in that order, second, third and fourth. Points Leader Chris Conroy (#78) extended his lead with a feature win in the Bond Auto Parts Outlaw Mini-Stocks class, followed by Mike Lique (#7) and Kurt Whiting (#38).<\/p>\n
The Super Street main event was looking like a train ride until the final lap. At that point, Mike Greene (#29), Wade Prentice (#4) and Doug McPhail (#6) all got knocked out of contention with a pile-up on the back stretch. The only car on the track not affected was leader JP Vaillancourt (#14) who got the win. “Super” Sam Comeau (#30) and Jack “Wild Child” Whynot (#27) came out of fourth and fifth to capture the second and third place trophies.<\/p>\n
