(March 25) \u2013 Lime Rock Park has announced that for the first time in 31 years the historic track in Connecticut\u2019s Northwest Corner is looking for people to \u201craise their hand and be a volunteer guest services staffer at Lime Rock Park during its major spectator race weekends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers would be joining its so-called \u201cEsses Club Station Staff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Station Staff are involved with a wide range of guest services and facility endeavors, and will help park cars, man access points, check-in campers and assist with loading in race teams.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThe track also says, \u201cStation Staff enjoy an all-access approach to Lime Rock Park, and get to work hand in hand with track management \u2013 not to mention meeting a star driver now and again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nancy Eppley, Lime Rock\u2019s operations manager, says, \u201cBy joining the Esses Club, people will find  a fun, exciting and \u2018insider\u2019 way to meet people from all over the world, people who share the same passion for racing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lime Rock has scheduled an open-house \u201cEsses Club\u201d familiarization meeting Saturday, April 26 at 12:30 p.m. at the track. Lunch will be served and people can meet management, ask questions and find out more.<\/p>\n<p>Lime Rock\u2019s 2014 major event schedule:<br \/>\nMay 23-25, IMSA<br \/>\nJune 20-21, SCCA<br \/>\nAugust 28-September 1, Historic Festival<br \/>\nSeptember 19-20, Trans-Am<br \/>\nSeptember 26-27, SCCA NARRCs<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAKEVILLE, Conn.
