At that time, the 15 year-old Griffith streaked out an impressive second place finish in the season opening race, held at Mondanock Speedway and continued on for a season ending top-10 points standing.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nDerek remarked, \u201cIt would be fantastic to get this car dialed in and come away with a top-3 finish here at Thompson.
