Johan Donahue, driver of the 26 car, and Trampas Demers, driver of the 85, both regulars of Thunder Road and ACT\/\/US series, will make the trek to Qu\u00e9bec looking for a win.\u00a0 This would give them access at the famous and so coveted possible invitation to the NHMS for this \u2018\u2019history in the making\u2019\u2019 all star Loudon race. More US drivers are expected to participate in this race and should let us know in a near future. <\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: Times New Roman\"><strong>Close to a hundred teams total should be part of this first pavement event this year @ Autodrome Montmagny Speedway. This ACT\/\/Castrol\u00a0 race will be the first this year to be presented in the Eastern Qu\u00e9bec region, so a good turn out of race cars and fans as well are to be expected for that evening of racing entertainment. <\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: Times New Roman\"><strong>On the LMS side, a star studded field will be on hand to amaze the fans all night long, with the Alexandre Gingras, Patrick Laperle, Donald Theetge, Karl Allard, Yvon B\u00e9dard, Claude Leclerc, Jean Fran\u00e7ois D\u00e9ry, Dany Ouellet, Jacques Poulin, but they will be in the sight of other rising stars like Kevin Roberge, Patrick Hamel, Jonathan Desbiens, Spencer Mc Pherson, St\u00e9phane Durand.\u00a0 All of them will have to cope with the rookies or the big come back of\u00a0 Michael Lavoie, Patrick Cliche, Val\u00e9rie Chiasson, Jr Collard, Bob Hudon, \u00c9tienne Lemay, and also our two US drivers who just announce their participation, John Donahue and Trampas Demers. And the list gets longer everyday. Fans won\u2019t be disapointed, because all these drivers are there for that win and what\u2019s attached to it.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: Times New Roman\"><strong>This 100 laps under green, ACT\/\/Castrol major event will also be surrounded by three local classes and one guest of honor. The newcomer on the card this year at Autodrome Montmagny Speedway is Sport Compact. This new class is attracting a lot of attention. This is the only class all over Qu\u00e9bec paved tracks that has a common sets of rules throughout\u00a0 the province. Should have a very good car count which normally leads to good racing. The development of this class will be something to watch.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: Times New Roman\"><strong>What about the return of great drivers in Limit\u00e9?\u00a0 Michel Moreau, Guillaume Bernier, &amp; Claude Albert. Three top names in the region. All three were top runners in Super Sportsman class and series for a couple of years. Great to see them back in racing at their local track. All the regulars of that class will have to get their equipment in top shape to cope with these guys. What a blast these races will be to watch!!! Not to miss, that\u2019s a fact\u2026.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: Times New Roman\"><strong>Then, you will have school time with the rookies of World Challenge Series. They will be there, making their classes, with every others, under the lights. Always filled with the unexpected, these races brings a special touch to the race night for the fans, very entertaining to watch.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;font-family: Times New Roman\"><strong>Last but not least,\u00a0 Qu\u00e9bec Vintage Serie will bring you on a special trip\u2026 without moving from your seat. Of all the Vintage teams attending that night, around 20, you can rely on the Jean Paul Cabana, Langis Caron, Renauld Blais, to name a few, the names on which Qu\u00e9bec stock car history was built on, to bring you right bak in the 70\u2019s. The look, the style, the sound, the drivers, the cars, all ingredients are there. In a flash, you\u2019ll be gone in history.
