There was at least one rookie winner in each of Stafford’s five NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions. Chase Dowling and Ronnie Williams both made a successful transition from SK Lights to the SK Modified® ranks with both drivers finding their way to NAPA Victory Lane. Josh Wood, who was the defending Limited Late Model track champion, won a race in his rookie season of Late Model competition, while the SK Light division had the best rookie driver results of any of the weekly divisions. Four SK Light rookie drivers found their way to NAPA Victory Lane in 2014 with Branden Dion, Paul French, Stephen Kopcik, and Jeremy Sorel all winning races. Kopcik and Sorel were the leading rookie winners at Stafford in 2014 with 2 feature wins each and Sorel also claimed the SK Light track title. Cliff Saunders was the lone Limited Late Model rookie driver to win while Trace Beyer and Dan Dembek were winners in the DARE Stock division. In all, 54 rookie drivers earned championship points at Stafford with a total of 10 feature winners.

SPAFCO Posts Record $1100 Rookie of the Year Bonus for Both SK Modified® and Late Model Winners at Stafford Speedway for 2015 (Stafford Springs, CT)—Thanks to Ken Barry and SPAFCO Race Chassis and Parts, the race for the 2015 SK Modified® and Late Model Rookie of the Year titles at Stafford Motor Speedway will be […]

[196,197

post-17306","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-connecticut","category-stafford-connecticut
["GET
