Packard had her car out on a race track, and she cannot wait to hit the track this weekend.\u00a0 The team has spent the last couple of months working on fine tuning from what was learned during Florida Speed Weeks in February.\u00a0 \u201cNew Smyrna was a great opportunity for us to shake down the car and find any issues that we needed to work out prior to the first points race of the season,\u201d said Packard.\u00a0 \u201cWe found a couple small things that we were able to fix over the last few weeks, and the car is ready to go this weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Packard and the team are focusing on running the American Canadian Tour full time this year, and not running a weekly series at a specific track, allowing for the team to really focus on preparing the cars for each individual race track.\u00a0 \u201cI am thrilled to be running the American Canadian Tour again this season, with the anticipation of going to new tracks as well as returning to tracks that we race at last year,\u201d said Packard, \u201cConcentrating on the ACT Tour will allow us to set up the car just once a weekend, and really give us the chance to dial it in during practice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am really looking forward to racing at Oxford Plains Speedway this weekend, it\u2019s a great track,\u201d Packard said. \u201cI have been to the track to watch racing, but have never had the chance to race here.\u00a0 It\u2019s a mostly flat track with wide turns, and that kind of track suits my driving style.\u00a0 We want to start the season off with a solid finish that will equate to a good points start to the season and this track should be a great starting point for us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-term=\"goog_1673219192\">Friday<\/span> is a practice day, which Packard will spend learning the track and getting the car set up for racing <span data-term=\"goog_1673219193\">on Saturday<\/span>.\u00a0 Practice <span data-term=\"goog_1673219194\">on Saturday<\/span> begins at <span data-term=\"goog_1673219195\">9:30 am<\/span> with the first 20 minute American Canadian Tour practice scheduled for <span data-term=\"goog_1673219196\">10 am<\/span>.\u00a0 Heat races kick off at <span data-term=\"goog_1673219197\">2 pm<\/span>.\u00a0 Follow Emily <span
