By Kenny U-Pull prepare for race number six of the 2015 season, Cassius Clark is still seeking his first top five finish of the year. While the former series champion has performed well this season, currently sitting fourth in points, the numbers have still not been up to par for Clark. This Sunday afternoon, Clark and his fellow PASS competitors will head to Bangor, ME’s Speedway 95 for the Hight Chevrolet/Buick/GMC 150. Clark comes to Speedway 95 as the defending race winner at the event named for his longtime sponsor, but seeking redemption at the same time. Despite his win last year, contact past the start/finish line with DJ Shaw sent Clark into a dirt berm in turn one and out for the rest of the 2014 season.

“It’s usually difficult to pass cars on the bottom, which usually leads up to an exciting finish and puts the fans on their feet,” says Clark. “I’ve been involved in a few of those finishes, fortunately in the winner’s circle, but unfortunate to end up down in turn one with a wrecked race car.”

Speedway 95 has long provided some of the best short track racing in Maine and, in a year that has seen four winners in the first five PASS races, Clark believes there is a good chance for more great competition and another new winner.

“Speedway 95 has always been one of my favorite tracks and we’ve had success there in the past,” said Clark. “It has two distinct grooves and has you on the edge of your seat all the way around.”

Despite the win last year at Speedway 95, the post-race crash led to a premature end to Clark’s championship hopes and his season. While he continues to try and work the bugs out of his current chassis, Clark hopes this weekend he can capture a redemptive win for himself and his sponsor.

“We are still trying to get a handle on our new car and will hopefully have it tuned up for the Hight Chevrolet/Buick/GMC 150 this Sunday,” said Clark. “We’re really looking forward to turning our season around and I can’t think of a better track to do it at than Speedway 95 and in the Hight-sponsored race.”

A great field of PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Model Presented By Kenny U-Pull history is expected on Sunday at Speedway 95. Clark will be joined by defending series champion DJ Shaw and former champions Johnny Clark and Ben Rowe. Two-time defending AIM Recycling Oxford 250 Presented By Kenny U-Pull winner Travis Benjamin should be a strong contender along with current series points leader Mike Rowe. Quebec is represented in the early entries by Raphael Lessard and Kyle Desouza will be making the tow to Speedway 95 from Massachusetts. New Hampshire’s Bryan Kruczek will be seeking his second PASS win of 2015 this weekend. And, as would be expected, a strong list of drivers from Maine will be contenders led by Wyatt Alexander, Richie Dearborn, Joey Doiron, Dave Farrington, Jr., Michael Landry, Glen Luce, Scott McDaniel, David Oliver, Adam Polvinen, and Gary Smith.

Action begins this Sunday at Speedway 95 with rotating practice from 10 AM to 12:40 PM, with heat races beginning at 1:30 PM, followed by main events for the PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Models, PASS Modifieds, and Outlaw Super Series.

Cassius Clark Hopes Speedway 95 Provides Spark To Turn Around Season NAPLES, ME (June 10) – As the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) AIM Recycling Super Late Models Pres.
