Davis shot to the outside of Derek Griffith on lap 17, and was the leader at the stripe. Davis would hold off Griffith on four different restarts, before taking off on a 60-lap green flag run, putting a full lap between himself and all but the top six drivers.

“We had a great long-car, and it was pretty easy to drive,” stated Davis. “I learned in the PASS (Pro All-Star Series) race to keep the right sides [tires] in it, and keep the momentum at the top, and it was dynamite up there.”

The win ties Davis for the most all-time victories on the tour, joining Barry Gray and Matt Frahm at the top with four victories. This is the second victory in a row for Davis on the Granite State Pro Stock Series, after picking up the win on July 4 at Speedway 51 (NH).

Griffith, who will unofficially retain the point lead, came across the line in second. Griffith was quick to give credit to Davis’ night, saying “Jeremy (Davis) really had the car to beat tonight. He was bad-fast, and he ran me clean tonight. He’s a well-respected driver, in my eyes. We restarted multiple times, and he didn’t drive me up into the wall. He left me plenty of room, and I left him plenty of room. It was some good racing tonight.”

Frahm, who had a great battle with Gelinas amongst the early restarts, was able to finish third. Frahm knew he didn’t have a winning car early in the race, feeling the suspension on the car was not working the way the #14M team wanted.

“The car started developing a chatter, and I knew early on we were only a third place, maybe second place, car, but the guys worked their butts off as normal. It was still a good podium finish, not completely happy, but it was a good finish for the guys, and we’ll move on.”

Gelinas would settle for fourth, with Joey Squeglia matching his career-best Granite State Pro Stock Series finish by taking the fifth spot. Unofficially holding the second spot in the championship standings, Barry Gray finished sixth, with Nick Sweet and John Peters nabbing the seventh and eighth spots in their series debut. Bobby Baillargeon and Jeremy Harclerode completed the top ten. Frahm, Griffith, and Gelinas won their respective qualifying heat races.

The Granite State Pro Stock Series continue their busy stretch of the 2015 schedule, returning to White Mountain Motorsports Park, on August 1.
