{"id":19590,"date":"2015-08-06T08:27:33","date_gmt":"2015-08-06T12:27:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newenglandracingnews.com\/blog\/?p=19590"},"modified":"2015-08-06T08:27:33","modified_gmt":"2015-08-06T12:27:33","slug":"jbh-100-sees-increase-in-purse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newenglandracingnews.com\/blog\/2015\/08\/jbh-100-sees-increase-in-purse\/","title":{"rendered":"JBH 100 Sees Increase in Purse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-12231\" src=\"http:\/\/www.maineracing.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/GSPS2.jpg\" alt=\"GSPS2\" width=\"463\" height=\"171\" \/>Driver Josh King Leads Fundraising for Special Race<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WINCHESTER, NH \u2013 One of the most special races on the Granite State Pro Stock Series schedule just became more interesting.\u00a0 An extra $8000 has been added to the JBH 100 at Monadnock Speedway (NH), set to run on <span data-term=\"goog_1952853016\">August 8<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vernon, VT\u2019s Josh King, driver of the #21 Steve\u2019s Septic \/ Tom Call Excavation Chevrolet, has organized to have the extra money added to the entire purse by selling laps to businesses, drivers, and fans of the series.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople are excited about the purse money,\u201d states King.\u00a0 \u201cTenth place will pay for your tires for this race, which is rare at this point in short track racing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The JBH 100 is named after one of the founders of the series, John Hoyt.\u00a0 Hoyt passed away before the series\u2019 inception, but his memory still lives on with many of the drivers and staff of the Granite State Pro Stock Series.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>King continues, \u201cThis race is important because it&#8217;s the JBH 100. \u00a0Although I didn&#8217;t know him well, I know he is a lot of the reason this series was started. \u00a0It&#8217;s important to race in his memory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The entire purse, which will pay up to 24 cars, is $15,325, with the winner of the JBH 100 earning $3000 for their efforts.\u00a0 Second place will pay out $2000, with third receiving $1000.\u00a0 Tenth place pays $600, with drivers picking up $250 just for taking the green.\u00a0 (See attachment).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lap sponsors of the event include, but are not limited to, J.
