Savary has been placed on probation for the balance of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Woody Pitkat, of Stafford Springs, CT, maintains a 24-point lead over Richmond, New Hampshire\u2019s Todd Patnode heading to \u2018The Bowl.\u2019  Todd Szegedy, of Ridgefield, CT, is a close third to Patnode (254-248) with Chris Pasteryak, of Jewett, City, CT, fourth (237) and Nashua, New Hampshire\u2019s NormanWrenn, (212) fifth. All top-five point men are competing at Waterford.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Defending race winner Ted Christopher, of Plainville, CT, has indicated he plans to compete in Saturday\u2019s race. Christopher ended a two-year drought last August.<\/p>\n<p>Pasteryak is a two-time winner at his home track and would like nothing more than to pick up his second win of the season at New London-Waterford.<\/p>\n<p>Rowan Pennink,of Huntingdon Valley, PA, another former Bowl winner, returns to the VMRS driving for veteran car owner Gary Casella.
