\"RPM_6310\"Loudon, NH<\/em> \u2013 The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) held its annual Test and Tune session Wednesday, August 26 at Loudon\u2019s New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Twenty-four ACT Late Model drivers took to the track in preparation for the 7th<\/sup> Annual Bond Auto ACT Invitational Saturday, September 26<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lempster, NH\u2019s Guy Caron set the fast time of the day with a lap of 31.926 seconds. Three-time Invitational winner Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, MA was second-fastest at 31.974 seconds and ranked at the top of the charts in nearly every session.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Three-time S\u00e9rie ACT winner Alex Labb\u00e9 was third-quick, while fellow automatic qualifier Brad Babb surged in the final session to place fourth on the overall charts. Aaron Fellows, Dany Tr\u00e9panier, and Woody Pitkat were also consistently fast.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A number of drivers made their first appearance at the \u201cMagic Mile\u201d. Canaan, NH\u2019s Walt Hammond Jr. was the fastest of the newcomers, placing in the top-10 on the speed charts in four of the five sessions. Ryan Olsen and Alby Ovitt were also impressive in their NHMS debuts. Mike Ziter started slow, but shaved a full second off his fast time over the day.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One incident slowed practice when Seekonk Speedway driver Mark Jenison spun in turn four late in the morning and suffered front-end damage. Jenison was able to repair his car in time for the first afternoon practice session.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Two 10-lap simulated races were also held. Fellows and Caron won the sim races.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The seventh Bond Auto ACT Invitational is coming up Saturday, September 26<\/span><\/span> at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Forty-three ACT Late Model drivers from throughout the Northeast United States and Canada will converge as part of a tripleheader also featuring the Camping World Truck Series and Whelen Modified Tour. The Invitational will take the green flag at 5:00pm<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n
